Christmas Comes Early With Fitness Unlimited

One of our aims is to inspire people of Sheffield to get active and continue to improve the health and wellbeing across the city.

We understand that Health and Wellbeing is not just about hitting the gym. This is why we are so much more than just our venues.

From low-level improvements to big initiatives that really deliver change, we’ve always valued our part in supporting Sheffield to strive to meet its ambition.

We are very proud to be involved with Tinsley Tingas to help with turning the former Tinsley Infants School in to a mix of workspaces and community facilities. We’ve recently donated and delivered some of our equipment to help transform one of the spaces in to a functional gym within the centre. Tinsley Tingas is a collaboration between Sheffield City Council, Tinsley Forum and Sheffield-based social enterprise Studio Polpo.

Tim Hick, Head of Health and Wellbeing said:

“We are delighted that we can play a big part in helping our local communities providing essential equipment to get people active.  It’s little things like this that help the city, bring communities together, change lives and improve overall health and wellbeing of Sheffield.”
